Make Us Your Home Page!

Internet Explorer (MAC):

  1. Select the Tools menu on your browser, then Internet Options
  2. Click on the General tab, if not already selected.
  3. In the Home Page section, type http://KansasFreePress.com into the address box.
  4. Click OK, and you are done!

Internet Explorer (Windows):

  1. Select the Tools menu on your browser, then Internet Options

  2. Click on the General icon, if not already selected.

FireFox Multiple Home Pages (MAC)

  1. Open a new browser window.
  2. Open KansasFreePress.com in a new tab (by pressing Apple + T and typing the URL into the address bar).
  3. From the Firefox menu, select Preferences
  4. Under General, the top section is titled Home Page.
  5. Click Use Current Pages.
  6. Click OK.

FireFox Multiple Home Pages (Windows)

  1. Open a new browser window.
  2. Open KansasFreePress.com in a new tab (by pressing Ctrl + T and typing the URL into the address bar).
  3. From the Tools menu, select Options
  4. Under the General tab, the top section is titled Home Page.
  5. Click Use Current Pages.
  6. Click OK.

Netscape (MAC):

  1. From the Netscape menu, select Preferences
  2. Highlight Navigator
  3. In the Home Page section, type http://KansasFreePress.com
  4. Click OK, and you are done!

Netscape (Windows):

  1. From the Edit menu, select Preferences
  2. Highlight Navigator
  3. In the Home Page section, type http://KansasFreePress.com
  4. Click OK, and you are done!

Safari (MAC):

  1. From the Safari menu, select Preferences
  2. Click on the General icon, if not already selected.
  3. In the Home Page box, type http://KansasFreePress.com
  4. Close the Preferences sheet, and you are done!

Safari (Windows):

  1. From the Safari Edit menu, select Preferences
  2. Click on the General icon, if not already selected.
  3. In the Home Page box, type http://KansasFreePress.com
  4. Close the Preferences window, and you are done!

America Online / AOL:

  1. Start up America Online and sign on
  2. Go to the Internet icon and click on it. You will be jumped to the Internet connection area.
  3. Click on the box, Go to the Web.
  4. In the Members menu, click on My AOL.
  5. Click on the icon next to Preferences Guide.
  6. Click on The Web.
  7. Click on Set Up Now.
  8. Select the Navigation index card tab.
  9. In the address box, type in http://KansasFreePress.com
  10. Click on OK and save your changes


The next time you sign on to the Internet, the Kansas Free Press (KansasFreePress.com) will automatically load in your browser.
