Vic Moser grows wheat and milo, as a full-time farmer. With a Bachelors in Civil Engineering and a Masters in Public Administration, Vic served for years as urban planner and road designer the Kansas Highway Commission before returning to the family farm. He has served on numerous boards and task forces over the years. Vic and Cheryl, his wife of 40 years, are so proud of their grown children, Andy and Rachel, as well as their four wonderful grandchildren.
Vic is passionate about elections and citizen involvement in government. He's completely dedicated to helping build the Democratic party at the grassroots level. He serves as chair for the Reno County Democratic party and chair of the 1st congressional district, spanning 69 counties. The geographic area of District 1 is the 11th largest in the country. Despite the fact that his district has consistently voted Republican in most elections, Vic isn't the least bit daunted. He believes that this is a great era of change, and that citizens are reevaluating the pervasive conservative dogma that has dominated politics.
He's working hard to embolden Democrats and provide the general electorate with legitimate choices. We're honored and thrilled that Vic wants to write with the Kansas Free Press. He welcomes your mail - vicmoser at hotmail dot com.
