Richard Head
Richard welcomes you to view his written words here.
Richard Head is a Kansas native. After earning an MSW from the University of Kansas, he worked in the Kansas City area for several not-for-profit agencies, including Executive Director for an agency on Kansas City's West Side.
He made a career change into business in his mid-30s and spent more than sixteen years with a division of the American Management Association where he designed instructional material, and recruited, trained, and coached business experts who provided training seminars and corporate consulting. His last corporate position was as Director of Training Delivery with H&R Block. He moved back into the not-for-profit sector in 2006 and now serves as Deputy Executive Director for a membership association.
A lifelong learner, some of his strongest interests are the development of adult and continuing education, and encouraging citizen advocacy and involvement. Recognizing the enormous power of the spoken word, he is interested in storytelling and the impact that the common beliefs and stories we tell ourselves have on our perceptions of the world.
He has done numerous voiceovers for training and informational videos, and for radio and television commercials. A private pilot, he loves anything with wings.
