David Glover
Dave welcomes you to view his words here.
David Glover has lived in Kansas all of his life. For as long as he can remember, he's also been a Democrat. He even remembers that at age 8, he was engrossed in watching the 1984 National Democratic Convention.
Dave says that his political interests are primarily driven by his passion for social justice, civil rights and protecting and sustaining our environment. He ran for the Kansas Legislature while a student in college, and had the privilege of having fellow KFP writer Diane Wahto as one of his professors. Dave humbly calls himself a "low level" progressive activist and a Sedgwick County Democratic Party volunteer.
He says that his other interests include reading good books and listening to quality music (he has eclectic tastes in good music). Dave is also a poker player. He says that he's almost a full blown "nerd" in that he enjoys science fiction / fantasy, World of Warcraft Monty Python and comic books (although he says he draws the line at going to conventions in costume).
As you might already guess, Dave has a wonderful and quirky sense of humor and enjoys a good practical joke from time to time. Other than that, Dave claims that he's pretty average.
Well, we're delighted this interesting and passionate (not your average) Kansas activist writes with us here!
We encourage you to read his archives here.
