Alice Pfeifer has spent her life serving others. She has been a Roman Catholic nun in the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes for over 30 years. She taught English in Wisconsin, Illinois, Kansas, and New York schools, and served as an editor for a Catholic publishing company. Alice also lived for several years in Chelyabinsk, Russia, working with children, the sick, and elderly. She recently completed her second master's degree and is now engaged in professional writing.
Sister Alice is committed to adding her voice to the public discourse. She believes that our nation spends too much time on making war - and too little on empowering just societies in the world. She accepts mail here - alice53pfeifer at yahoo dot com. Alice also writes at Everyday Citizen.
