Amber Fraley is a stay-at-home mom and freelance writer living in Lawrence, Kansas.

She has over ten years experience working as a professional writer, editor and reporter for newspapers and magazines. Amber worked as a reporter and layout artist for the Lawrence Business Ledger and as an editor for Grit magazine. She was the creator and publisher of the Lawrencian, an 'alternative' newspaper for the Lawrence, Kansas market. She also acquired the Kaw Valley Wedding Planner, improving it from a newsprint publication to a glossy bridal magazine.

Amber is also a graduate of the University of Kansas (go 'Hawks!) where she achieved a bachelor of arts in English.

She says that she is frequently silly in her spare time. She worships Darwin and can't wait until all of her gay and lesbian friends can marry legally in every state of this great nation. Though she is sometimes frustrated with the backwards politics in her home state, she loves Kansas dearly.
