Tiahrt Endorsed by Crooks, Liars and Thieves

MOUND CITY, Kan. - Tea Party elitist, Senator James Inhofe (R-OK), made a very special video ad for his pal Todd Tiahrt (R-KS) endorsing his bid for the Senate.

Inhofe, well known for his staunch support of Israeli policies, and his hair-raising opposition to climate change legislation, is the last person Kansans should want endorsing a candidate to represent them in the Senate.

"Our future is on the line," Inhofe said, "and Todd Tiahrt is ready to answer the call."

Yes, Tiahrt has been answering many calls of late. While ethic probes continue, his attitude has remained above reproach. His ties to the wicked ways of "The Family" have left him feeling even more above the fray and likely even giddy to receive such honorable (in his mind) mention.

Being cited by courts, mayors, and law enforcement as the ring bearer for delivering freedom from prosecution to illegal crime gun owners, is just one more feather in his escalating cap.

On global warming, "We are spending money we do not have on science we cannot trust," Tiahrt said.

House Resolution 2997 includes appropriations for Agriculture, Rural Development, Food, and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies programs for fiscal year ending September 30, 2010.

This bill includes the following allocations:

  • $82.78 billion to Domestic Food programs
  • $24.57 billion to Rural Development programs
  • $12.54 billion to Agriculture programs
  • $3.25 billion to the Food and Drug Administration
  • $2.09 billion to the Foreign Agricultural Service, and
  • $1.01 billion to Conservation programs

HR 2997 also includes, $350 million for dairy producer aid, $60 million of which shall go to the purchase of cheese and other dairy products and $290 million of which shall go to the assistance of dairy and other livestock producers that incur economic losses in connection with dairy and other livestock production.

$4 million in grants for programs that develop, and field-test food products "designed to improve the nutritional delivery of humanitarian food assistance."

$3 million to the Hunger Fellowship Program, a program designed to encourage leadership in humanitarian service, to provide training and development opportunities for those leaders, and to increase awareness of the importance of public service.

HR2997 resolves that combat pay will not be considered income when determining eligibility to receive free or reduced school lunches for the children of members of the United States Armed Forces, nor for military eligible to apply for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Children, and Infants.

The bill prevents the use of funds to provide first-class travel for employees of agencies receiving funding under HR2997.

Prohibits the use of funds to establish or implement rules allowing the importation of poultry products from the People's Republic of China, unless the Secretary of Agriculture takes specified steps including conducting audits of inspection systems and on-site reviews of Chinese poultry processing facilities before certifying any such products as eligible for importation.

In addition, the bill includes a provision for households with at least one eligible child receiving assistance under the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act to continue receiving assistance from a state agency plan approved by the Department of Agriculture if the child's school closes for more than five consecutive days due to a pandemic emergency.

HR2997 affects Kansas farmers, children, women, and military personnel. Tiahrt voted NO.

Other Neo-Conservatives who have joined Inhofe to endorse Tiahrt include: former Sen. (people will marry animals commenter) Rick Santorum, former U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft, Congressman Mike Rogers, former Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert, former (corrupt) Congressman Jim Ryun, Conservative talk radio icon Mark Levin, Concerned Women for America, and Kansans for Life. Oh yes, and the Family Research Council PAC Eagle Forum who is attached to a few commentaries such as:

"The teachers unions are more eager to expand job opportunities for the remedial reading bureaucracy, and for servicing the social problems caused by illiteracy, than they are in teaching the basics.

"Abolishing the Department of Education was one of Ronald Reagan's campaign promises when he ran for President in 1980. Fulfilling that promise is long overdue and the time to do it is now...The goal [in public schools] is clearly to infuse the gay/lesbian propaganda into every level of school: every grade K through 12, every academic subject, and every school and social activity. "

"Nothing about contraception should be taught in schools. There is no question that it will encourage sexual activity."

In addition, "You can't get into negotiations with the feminists because you will lose. They will slit your throat. They have no sense of fair play or compromise."

Endorsements coming from the aforementioned players who assisted in turning our country upside-down and shaking out every ounce of blood left in our economy, should act as a reminder why Kansans and Americans do not want Tiahrt in the Senate.

My my my, Denise, you just don't like Mr. Tiahrt, do you! I don't either! I've not been able to vote against him (wrong congressional district) in the past. However, I can and will vote against him as Senator, if I have a choice.

Let's get some input in here about a Democratic candidate for that position. It certainly wouldn't hurt my feelings if we could turn Brownback, Tiahrt, and Moran, all three out to pasture on the back 40.
